45 days prior to E3 2018 De Tune was asked to help Fortnite launch their inaugural esports tournament and to make it worthy of a media spectacle.



De Tune took over production and creative services helping to establish the broadcast and live creative vision for the show. We also designed new Data API with Epic specifically for the PRO-AM event to report in-game stats to the live audience and online streaming viewers.



The E3 Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am event has been short-listed for a Broadcast Technology Award for Best Esports Production. This event was a “first-of-its-kind” outdoor esports event for E3 that brought celebrities from tv, film, and professional sports, together with esports pros to kick-off one of the most successful battle royal titles of all time that produced the highest viewership numbers for a Fortnite event to date.






In June 2018, roughly 45 days before E3, De Tune & Fanview were tasked with taking over management and creative efforts to ensure the success of the live production of the Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am tournament, Epic Games’ first major live competition event, at the Banc of California Stadium in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.
